Mission / Purpose

The UIL Academics Team provides students with opportunities to develop and showcase their academic talents through competitive events. Students participate in contests that strengthen critical thinking, writing, communication, and problem-solving skills—helping them gain confidence and prepare for college and career success.

Membership & Eligibility

Open to all students who enjoy academic challenges and teamwork. Students are encouraged to join events that match their strengths and interests, such as writing, math, science, social studies, debate, and more.
