Mission / Purpose

The Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) at Dunbar High School prepares students who are interested in pursuing careers in education. The organization encourages leadership, academic excellence, and service through opportunities that highlight the value and impact of teaching.

Membership & Eligibility

Open to students passionate about working with children or exploring careers in teaching, counseling, or education administration. Members are expected to demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to academic success.

Activities & Events

  • Participation in TAFE regional and state competitions

  • Mentoring and tutoring programs

  • Campus and community service projects

  • Leadership and professional development workshops

Highlights

Dunbar’s TAFE chapter empowers students to “learn, lead, and inspire” as they prepare to become the next generation of educators and changemakers.
