The Collegiate Academy
As a school within a school model, The Collegiate Academy is an embedded ECHS program within Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in the Fort Worth Independent School District. Newly designated in Spring 2016, The Collegiate Academy at Dunbar provides a unique opportunity for the underserved and underrepresented subpopulations to attend college, free of charge. The Collegiate Academy, in partnership with Texas Wesleyan University, aims to support our students through rigorous coursework while molding them to become global leaders in college, careers and beyond.

To support our students through rigorous coursework while providing a unique opportunity to earn a high school diploma and 60 college credit hours for the historically underserved subgroups of higher education.
